A massive X-class solar flare erupted on Tuesday, August 9 – Yellow Resonant Star, kicking off the 500-day countdown to 12/21/2012 and seven days before the 24th anniversary of the Harmonic Convergence. This was the largest solar flare in more than four years. The sun is transitioning from a quiet period into a busier cycle, which expected to peak in 2013.
